Time Out has teamed up with tastelondon to offer you a fantastic one month free trial
This gastropub has got it covered whatever the season, with lots of snug corners for winter boozing sessions and a compact back garden, brimming with potted and wall-growing plants, for alfresco drinking and dining in the sun. Upmarket, clean cut and tasteful (though the arty black and white photographs adorning the walls verge on corny), the Fentiman attracts well-spoken City boys and shiny haired career blondes who'd rather hide out with a decent bottle of wine and a plate of good food than face the mean streets of SW8 of an evening. The Sunday menu is particularly mouth-watering, featuring grilled sea bass and courgette risotto alongside the usual roasts.

Right then. Well I work in London and all that usual malarkey. I suppose I assume myself to be a general socialiser, not an out every night person....

Me and my two flatmates decided to have a meal in the lovely local pub...
staff was nice and friendly, but it took them about 10 min to deliver our 3 pints of lager. another 10 min to take a food order (place wasn't busy at all and we could see all the staff hanging around and chatting with each other). my friend ordered chicken ceasar salad and I decided to have sausages and mash. food came to the table 35 min later and my sausages turned out to be a pork belly. Our waitress apologized for the misstake and wanted to change my food but i wasn't happy to wait another 35 min so i ate it. food was tasty but portion was definately overpriced-£12.50.
i like this place and will come back to have a drink but definately won't be dining again.
