This episode in the ongoing gentrification of Dalston arrived at the same time as the East London Line extension, appropriate for a venue that lacks the kind of edge that defines so many neighbouring bars. It's deliberate, we think; at any rate, it's a worthwhile change from the norm in E8.
Done out in smart, faintly industrial fashion with a nice window on to the street, the Junction Room is a casual café-cum-diner during the day, dispensing burgers and other comfort-food staples to the locals. After dark, the kitchen's still open, but you can also choose from a short cocktail list and a few beers and wines. DJs deliver a soundtrack at weekends.

Honestly - The worse bar in Dalston !!!! I went to a party on a Sat night .
I've never ever been treat in a such bad way by the security / staffs and OWNER . The worse service and the worse crowd !!!
Many people were talking bad about this place and now I know why .
Wow, a theme bar with the theme of 'bar in Islington in 1995'. Not good at all. Rude staff, long toilet queue, long bar wait. Go somewhere good and original in Dalston instead!
Nice drinks, tasty snacks and quality tunes when we visited on the Friday. The basement club adds another option. We'll be back!
great music last sunday
great djs jazzy and cool will bring my friends down there cool
yeah no bad ,i was there on sunday really jazzy
music cool ,the guy from the brothers in jazz was the dj
Although the menu is somewhat simple, the food was fantastic! Especially the homemade burgers. I absolutely loved them, the kids loved them too. I'd reccommend this place to anyone who is visiting dalston who wants somewhere to eat homemade food with a fab atmostphere
