After the success of the avocado brunch pop-up last month, it looks like Londoners have got an appetite for the green stuff, because now another green superfood is getting its own pop-up.

Japanese green tea specialists Tombo are opening a pop-up café in Liberty, where they'll be serving up food and drink made with matcha – a powdered green tea. It opens on May 20, and the menu features matcha lattes, a variety of iced matcha teas, as well as matcha brownies, matcha Oreo cookies and matcha marshmallows.

And there's more good news if you're mad for matcha. The six week-long pop-up will be followed by the opening of Tombo's Poké and Matcha bar in Soho this June, which will specialise the Hawaiian-inspired raw food dish and all things matcha.

The Tombo café is opening in Liberty from May 20. Regent Street, W1B 5AH.
