Remember when a company was crowdfunding to replace all the adverts in a tube station with photos of cats? Well, it turns out there must be a fair few advert-hating cat-lovers in this city, because The Citizens Advertising Takeover Service (yep, that's CATS, for short) managed to raise a whopping £23,000 on Kickstarter to make their feline dreams a reality.

They've used the cash to replace 68 adverts in Clapham Common tube station, featuring stray cats from rescue charities Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and Cats Protection, and the pictures will be in place for the next two weeks.

The campaign was the first project by creative collective Glimpse. But if you're more of a dog person, you'll be pleased to hear that they're already taking suggestions for their next advertising takeover, and 'dogs' is currently in the lead.

Check out more snaps of the cats:

Love cats as much as these guys? Why not quit your job and become a cat rehomer?
