City envy: LA's Drake yoga classes

Canada has given many great things to the world: basketball, poutine and peanut butter to name just three. And now we have that country to thank for a wellbeing trend inspired by one of its most famous sons – Drake. Los Angeles' Resident nightclub has been hosting Drake yoga classes brilliantly named 'NamasDrake: Just Hold on We're Going Om' which feature the music of the Toronto-born crooner. Apparently, Drizzy's smooth tones are the perfect complement to a menu of downward dogs and mountain poses because, according to the event's co-founder, DJ and yoga instructor Paul Schneider, the star is 'so sensitive, but at the same time has these really hard hip hop songs... it's like the yin and yang of yoga.' A bit of a stretch, perhaps, but we're sure London would gladly be next in (hot)line.

We're also jealous of Singapore's Michelin-starred street food and Helsinki's fast-food sauna
