If you live or work in Zone 2, your food options for those days when you can't be bothered to move from your desk/sofa/bed just got way more exciting. Having successfully launched within Zone 1 back in June, UberEats is expanding its empire into Zone 2 today.

There are now over 500 restaurants to choose from, although apparently Londoners are only interested in burritos. According to research from the app, UberEats has delivered so many burritos since launching that if they stacked them all up, it would be ten times higher than the Shard. So, there's a fairly useless bit of (possibly made-up) trivia for you. More useful is this – if you've never used the app before, you can use the code EATSZONE2 to get £10 off.

And here's a hot tip: you'll only be able to use the credit on one order, so make sure you order strategically to spend minimum money and get maximum food. You're welcome.

Here's everything you need to know about Uber's new food delivery service
