It's official: London has caught 'Pokémon Go' fever. So it was only a matter of time before people started organising 'Pokémon Go' parties. Here are four happening in London over the next few weeks.

Pokémon GO Lure Party, July 23

If you're an avid 'Pokémon Go' player, you'll know that there are things called 'Lure Modules', which make Pokémon flock to a certain area so that you can literally catch them all. With this in mind, someone's organised a massive lure party in Trafalgar Square this Saturday at 2pm. Charge up your phone and be prepared for chaos if a rare Pokémon appears. Get more details on their Facebook event page.

Propaganda Pokémon Party, July 23

Once you're done catching Pokémon in Trafalgar Square, head over to Camden where Propaganda is hosting a Pokémon Party at Electric Ballroom. There will be Pokémon photo opps (whatever that involves) and they'll be setting off lures every half hour. Most importantly, the bar will be serving drinks from £2.40 all night. Drunk people staring at their phones while running around and trying to catch Pokémon – what could go wrong? Get more details here.

Pokémon Go Brixton bar crawl, August 6

Well, it was only a matter of time, wasn't it? London’s first ever Pokémon Go Bar Crawl is taking over Brixton on August 6. There will be lures aplenty to help you boost your scores, and you can get boozy at the same time. Tickets are being released soon – find out more info here.

Pokémon Sundays at The Macbeth, August 21

Tired of hunting Pokémon? The Macbeth in Hoxton has launch Pokémon Sundays, where you can kick back with a pint and watch the original Pokémon TV series all night long. And if you're having gaming withdrawals, they'll have an N64 set up with 'Pokemon Stadium'. Tickets are sold out for July 31 but you can book tickets for August 21 here.
