Last night saw Portugal take home the Euro 2016 cup, and it sparked some serious celebrations in south London’s ‘Little Portugal’. Football fans took to the streets around Brixton and Stockwell, throwing parties into the small hours to mark the victory. Roads were awash with flags and fireworks, and four bus routes were even diverted due to the vast numbers of jubilant supporters dancing along their usual roads.
