In pictures: there's a Santa's workshop made out of Lego in Covent Garden

It's been a pretty great time to be a Lego fan in London lately, what with the opening of the world's largest Lego store in Leicester Square (complete with a giant Lego tube carriage!), and John Lewis re-creating its Christmas adverts in Lego form. And now Christmas has come early yet again for Lego fanatics, with the arrival of a full-sized Santa's workshop made out of Lego in Covent Garden. The installation has been made from more than 700,000 Lego bricks and will be keeping Covent Garden looking festive until December 29.

The world's biggest Lego store opens in Leicester Square today, complete with a 16,000 brick tube map and HUGE two-storey, 200,000 brick Big Ben.
