Goat House pop-up at Viet Grill
We've had restaurants dedicated to turkey, duck, and the humble chip, but now London's getting its first all-goat restaurant. Well, temporarily, at least. Goat House is taking up residency at Viet Grill in Dalston for a month of Vietnamese-style feasts. Inspired by the goat steamboat houses in Vietnam, the pop-up will have a set menu for £30 per head, starting with a citrus cured goat salad, followed by goat curry and barbecue goat chops. And that's all before you get to the main event – the Vietnamese goat steamboat, a pot of broth infused with spices and chunks of slow-cooked goat, which will simmer away on a burner in the centre of the table. 58 Kingsland Rd, E2 8DP. Jim Beam and Bodean's London Cocktail Week pop-up
If you love bourbon and barbecue food, you'll be in foodie and boozy heaven at Jim Beam and Bodean's London Cocktail Week pop-up. They'll be serving up classic bourbon cocktails and pulled pork and beef brisket sandwiches with a Jim Beam-infused barbecue sauce. Spitalfields Market, E1 6EW. Until October 9.
Beyond Retro's Halloween pop-up
The Oxford Street Christmas lights might already be up, but most of us are just about getting our heads around the fact that it's Halloween soon. Get your costume sorted at Beyond Retro's pop-up shop at their Dalston branch. They'll have everything from evil doctors and zombie brides to outfits inspired by 'Stranger Things'. And yes, that means you can dress up as Barb. Beyond Retro is at 92-100 Stoke Newington Road, N16 7XB.
Light Club at Habitat
Always wanted to go clubbing in a furniture shop? Sure, who hasn't? And now all your dreams can come true, as Habitat on Tottenham Court Road is turning into a club for one night only on October 27. It's called The Light Club, and it's to tie with the launch if Habitat's new lighting range, naturally. As well as some swanky lighting, they'll have a two-hour DJ set by Crucial & Fresh and free cocktails from pop-up maestro Jimmy Garcia. 196-199 Tottenham Court Rd, W1T 7PJ. October 27.
Yayā yoga lunch
Screw green smoothies, Greek supperclub Yayā is hosting a yoga lunch where you'll take part in 75 minutes of zen-inducing yoga, before feasting on a tasty two-course veggie lunch inspired by traditional Greek dishes. The Greenhouse, 49 Green Lanes, N16 9BU. October 9.
The Wool BnB
If the change in seasons has got you feeling like all you want to do is curl up on the sofa under a wooly blanket, you're in luck. To celebrate Wool Week (we're sure you've got that marked in your calendars), a pop-up Wool BnB is coming to Islington, where everything inside will be made entirely of wool - from wool-filled mattresses to wooly pajamas. They'll be hosting workshops, talks, film screenings and styling sessions on the different uses for wool. 35 Englefield Road, De Beauvoir Town, N1 4HJ. October 10-16
Hoxtoberfest
Can't make it to Munich? Hotfoot it over to east London instead, where Hoxtoberfest will be taking over a whole block of warehouses and yards along Regent's Canal for a Bavarian-inspired extravaganza. The Gravy Social Supper Club
Patty & Bun's Luke Findlay is having a break from burgers to host his own supper club at The Gun in Hackney. As anyone who's ever eaten at Patty & Bun will know, this guy knows his way around a kitchen, and you can expect some pretty big things from this solo venture. He's serving up a family-style feast with dishes including braised mussels with fennel and garlic sausage, goat shoulder ‘Sisig’ with crispy shallots, and Crunchie ice cream with grilled white peaches for dessert. Game at Lyle's
Lyle's head chef James Lowe is hosting his third annual game supper, where he invites chefs from around the world to try their hands at hunting in Scotland, before bringing the whole lot back to London for a game-inspired feast. Tea Building, 56 Shoreditch High St, E1 6JJ. October 7-8.
