Operation Scone: Londoners respond to Brexit

Last week saw hundreds of croissants delivered fresh from Paris to be dished out at St Pancras station along with hand-written postcards from Parisians encouraging us to remain in the EU (sadly, the pastries weren't allowed to be distributed but the postcards were!). Following Friday’s results and a weekend spent worrying about what’s next for the UK, Londoners have responded to Operation Croissant with their own sweet offerings and messages to our French friends across the water. Scones were handed out to those travelling to Paris on the Eurostar on Saturday with postcards reading ‘Sorry France, London still loves you’ as part of Operation Scone. We’ve heard they’re doing the same again tomorrow so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for friendly faces laden with crumbly treats if you're in the area.
