A few weeks ago, we got all excited about London-based photographer Rich McCor who has a knack for transforming the familiar sights of our city's landmarks into something else. He's used detailed paper cutouts to turn Big Ben into a wristwatch, the London Eye into a bike and now he's done a festive instalment using the Covent Garden Christmas lights as a backdrop.

Yes, we know it's only November but the Oxford Street lights have been up since October, Christmas keenos are already shouting about the countdown to the big day and, if we're being honest, we've already tucked into our first festive sandwich of the year. Christmas is coming and there's nothing we can do about it, which means it's time for...

Going sledging (if this incessant wind and rain ever turns into snow)

And, er, snogging under the mistletoe – if you're into that kind of thing

And if you can't get enough of these, McCor has also started a Kickstarter campaign to start selling postcards of his work and paper cutout kits so that you can create your own photographs.
