*CONTAINS MINOR 'FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM' SPOILERS*

'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' hit cinemas the world over this weekend. Magizoologist Newt Scamander's eventful stopover in New York City has impressed at the box office, with figures revealing that a lot of grown-up Harry Potter fans were the first to see the new movie – and it's garnered positive reviews from critics too (us included).

But with another four movies on the way, our thoughts have quickly turned to the sequel and where we can expect the story to go.

We know we're set to see a lot more of Johnny Depp's dark and dangerous wizard Gellard Grindelwald and that Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore will make an appearance. We also know that Newt and Tina are set to reunite, after he promised to hand deliver her a copy of his book 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'. Maybe in Paris or the UK, which is where the second movie is supposed to be set.

And now we have another piece of the magical puzzle. Remember Newt's former flame Leta Lestrange? She only appeared in a photo in the first movie, but she's going to play much more of a part in 'Fantastic Beasts 2'.

'Yes. Leta Lestrange comes into the second movie,' director David Yates told CinemaBlend. 'She's quite complicated and damaged and confused and Newt is absolutely still in love with her, so she has a kind of power over him.'

'She's a kind of tragic figure, so we will see a bit more of her in the second movie.'

It'll be interesting to see how the reappearance of Leta, played by Zoe Kravitz, affects Newt. If he is 'absolutely still in love with her' we can certainly expect some set backs for his fledgling flirtation with Tina...

'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2' will be in UK cinemas November 16 2018.
