London’s paltry poultry landscape took a turn for the better when Tottenham’s crowd-funded, non-profit Chicken Town opened up in November. We gave its health-conscious chooks a fully deserved five-star rating and feel it’s only fair our readers get the chance to sample their gently steamed free-range chicken this summer (we're still salivating over that crispy coating).
So we’ve teamed up with the good people of Chicken Town to offer a limited edition burger created especially for Time Out – spicy chicken thigh, Korean hot sauce and Asian slaw in a brioche bun – with a side and a drink for a clucking great £10. Choose from accompaniments such as baked sweet potato wedges, panko onion rings, homemade beans or coleslaw, and team it all with an ice–cold can of Beavertown Blood Orange IPA. Disclaimer: you may never crave Chicken Cottage again.
