Good news dough boys, one of our fave pizza joints (voted 'Best Hackney Restaurant' in our Love London Awards 2015 no less) is opening up a second branch in Finsbury Park on June 13. Similar to their Clapton mothership, the new Yard Sale will operate a short but sweet menu with five sourdough-based classics including my fave, the ‘TSB’ with tenderstem broccoli, parmesan, pine nuts and garlic and ‘The Holy Pepperoni’ with Cobble Lane pepperoni and Nduja sausage to eat in and take away. They'll also be doing daily specials, homemade dips and sides, Nonna’s gelato, local beers and Borough Wines.

However, to mix it up a tad, the new Blackstock Road branch will be teaming up with Hackney’s Five Points Brewery and as well as selling their beers, they'll be making new a pizza called ‘The Mullered Mushroom’ with Portobello and oyster mushrooms braised in Five Points' London Smoke porter, Pale Ale onion chutney, ricotta, fior di latte mozzarella and topped with thyme and malt grain. Yes please.

To celebrate the opening, they're giving away 350 pizzas in their first week. From 5pm Monday to Thursday or from midday Friday to Sunday they'll be giving away 50 free 12” stone baked pizzas to the first lucky locals through the door. Delivery will kick in on June 27, but you'll have to pay for those ones.
