Time Out says

From science fiction to food books, poetry to page turning thrillers, gardening and more, the Chiswick Book Festival has been bringing genre-spanning authors to audiences for five years now. This month they're back with more top names, including a bit of pre-festival entertainment with historian, author and broadcaster Lucy Worsley at Chiswick House, an afternoon with musician and now author James Bowen and his feline friend Side-Cat Bob (Sat, 12.15pm). Plus Saturday morning is given over to the little ’uns, with a young people's poetry competition (12pm), mischievous storytelling (10am) and a 'puzzles, problems and paradoxes in poetry' for ages 7-11 (11am). Other authors appearing include Sir Max Hastings, Philip Kerr and Jane Thynne, Rula Lenska, Charles Cumming, Simon Hughes, Lesley Pearse, Lindsey Davis and more.
