Ever-ace crew Slide celebrate 21 long years of putting on prime parties, from their club roots in Oxford through to their first London events in 2007, all the way up to the present day. Known for their consistently great terrace parties at Brixton venue the Prince of Wales (the same venue they've been at since their initial London venture, albeit now with a different name), this lot really are pros at hosting brilliant, all-day and all-night bashes that straddle any number of genres.
As you'd expect for their birthday celebration, Slide have drafted in some superb DJs to help steer the sonics. Former Slide guests Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston – two of the wisest, most eclectic DJs on the circuit – are bringing their acclaimed A Love From Outer Space party into the mix for the daytime section, adding a very healthy dose of slo-mo disco and tripped-out grooves to the fun. Keeping things similarly tight in the club when night-time hits will be house master Mark E, techno-dabbler Scott Fraser and colourful disco duo Eskimo Twins. The Slide All-Stars will also be on the decks throughout to spin all kinds of dancefloor goodness. Essential partying courtesy of an established crew.
