Regular customer for over a year! Really RUDE bar lady (tattoos and acting manager this evening as we were told TIm was unavailable) her attitude was appalling shocked and disappointed as always polite customer! I was told when asked to be served in a calm and polite manner after waiting 20 minutes "No one else is being rude just you I am working on the bar alone you NEED to be patient. I was actually going to serve you next but now hmmmmm" DISGUSTED at the aggressive nature this was said :( I have tweeted and emailed I would appreciate a response as love the bar!!

Excellent pizza and music. Aces and Aces is a rock'n'roll style bar far enough from Camden to keep out the tourists and idiots. It has a late license to boot! It is refreshing to have a late night bar that is not pounding out dance music. Instead the DJs play rock'n'roll favourites. The pizzas are really good and there is a good selection of whiskeys and cocktails. The cocktails do take ages, but they are worth it. I would rather them not be rushed and taste crap. The staff are cool and friendly--much more friendly than at the Intrepid Fox. They are too self important there. They used to do live music on Sundays but that has stopped. I hope they start it again as it was a really nice chilled evening. In summary, a great late-night bar if you like rock music without the pretentious stuff.
Stumbled in this gorgeous looking bar by accident. It is a Rock 'N' Roll/Americana styled bar make no doubt. Seating is mainly made up of booths and the lighting is dark and moody reds. The beer on tap was slightly less authentic and inspiring, but I suspect you are meant to have JD on the rocks here. The Bottle beers do include Goose Island IPA however, which is a taste sensation from Chicago. A small raised stage at the back affords small bands and acoustic acts a place to play, all at an ear shattering volume. Don't go to have a catch up with your best mate on a live music night, but do go here to see acts. Pizza's from a inside vendor are also good.
