Bizarro comic Karl Schultz hosts this new gig where comedians have to be totally honest – no fibs. So honest, in fact, to the point where they regret what they've just said. June 23 line-up features everyone's favourite doctor/comedy superstar Harry Hill, the delightful Sara Pascoe and Trevor Lock. And on July 1, at the Harrison, the bill includes John Kearns, Liam Williams, Phil Nichol, Sofie Hagen, Lucy Hopkins and Joe Davies.
I went along not knowing what to expect. I had never been to a show with several comedians doing shorter times (15 minutes). The compere I had not seen before. He had a unique style to say the least but was trying to lead by example and was very funny I thought. I was there to see John Kearns after seeing his Soho Theatre show but sadly he couldn't make it. I didn't know too many of the comics. Only Bridget Christie who I also saw in the Soho Theatre. In total, it was a great night. Very funny but also learning a lot about the comedians. I went with friends and will go again later for sure.
