Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre return to Sadler's with their piece reacting to the 1913 premiere of the Ballets Russes' 'Rite of Spring'. It's Michael Keegan-Dolan's macho, aggro take on the powerful Stravinsky score and the story of a 'chosen one' sacrificed to the gods. It comes as a double bill along with another Stravinsky ballet, 'Petrushka', reinterpreted again by Keegan-Dolan in his particular style of dance theatre which tends towards the comical, the surreal and the sinister.
