O m goodness!!! A must see!!! I was mesmerised for the whole production! Absolutely amazing. The cast exceeded all my expectations. How they have the energy to do that 8 times a week I have no idea! But I cannot believe a show like that is running for such a short period of time as I would definatly love to go a second time! the story is romantic and funny.

After the huge success of ZooNation's 'Into the Hoods', another funny and feelgood hip hop show from choreographer/director Kate Prince. 'Some Like It Hip Hop' is very loosely based on the Billy Wilder film of almost the same name, with a dash of Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night' thrown in. The show skips from comical slapstick to sentimental drama to soulful musical theatre, via backspins, popping and locking, and despite the slightly convoluted first act plot, by the end you will be completely infected by the cast's upbeat energy. Our advice: just go with it and you'll have a ball. The brilliant Tommy Franzen stars, along with fellow 'So You Think You Can Dance' alumna Lizzie Gough and Teneisha Bonner ('StreetDance 3D'). Great singers too. Suitable for ages 7+.

Wow, totally amazing, the bunk bed scene was the best Choreography for me personnally! Its only got another 2 weeks to go, i am even going again!!! Can't wait! The Cast where awesome!!! :0)
This is simply the best show I've seen in London for .... decades. Maybe the original Rocky Horror show in the Kings Road came close in bringing the musical to a contemporary young audience. But the quality of the staging, songs, original soundtrack, archetypal plot, sheer energy, and choreography are all superb ... and they can dance a bit too. Why Time Out classifies this under Dance is a mystery to me ... yes they dance, but its a MUSICAL!!! GO AND SEE IT WHILE YOU CAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some Like it Hip Hop......Everyone will love the show. I went to see this last night. It was a breath of fresh air with its innovative ideas - fantastic dancers and choreography, emotive singing, and a soundtrack that's still stuck in my head. All in all, the most enjoyable show I've seen in a while. Highly recommended! It's going to be a hit.
