Marilyn.. Larry at Hershisons has always cut my hair. He's totally amazing with the scissors. He takes care to do what his customer wants. I cannot rate the shop itself and Larry as the best ever.

Despite its location in the heart of upmarket Mayfair, this modern two-storey salon isn’t at all snooty, with a staff of very talented cutters and colourists. Prices start at £60 (£45 for men), though you’ll pay £300 for a cut with Daniel (£150 for men). There’s also a menu of therapies; the swish Harvey Nichols branch has a dedicated spa. Hersheson’s Blow Dry Bars are located at Topshop, Westfield London and One New Change.

I was really disappointed with Hersheson’s on Conduit Street. Although the salon is beautifully designed, you can tell they’ve spent a lot on fixtures and fittings, the place was a mess. There was the last customers hair all over the chair, floor and the mirror was really dirty.
The customer service was really poor, I was never offered a drink. I felt like I was in a cheap hairdressers in a train station rather than a premium salon, being rushed through the whole experience.
The haircut isn’t great, I will have to get it cut again to be sorted out. And the blow dry was awful, which is surprising for a place that specialises in blow dries. I wasn’t asked how I would like it dried or styled, I was almost expecting them to send me out with wet hair, it was that slap dash.
