Make no mistake…Piccadilly is by FAR the worst club I have ever been too. Let’s first get the obvious stuff out of the way. • The sound system is very poor in every room • For such a big space, each room is very small and makes this club seem like a series of shit, tiny clubs rather than one big one • The drinks on offer are unimaginative and dull; without competitive pricing However, it is time to really vent about what is the biggest gripe. And that is the fact that this club makes it’s customers feel like little pieces of scum. This time last year my friend complained about going to this club and at one point being taken down an alley by the bouncers and been kicked the shit out of. Today, my friend was escorted out for being too drunk. I have no problem with this, but he was clearly told that he would be allowed back in if given half an hour to sober up. In the end, it was two and half hours before he was let back in. Both me (whilst sober) and him (whilst very sober after the initial half hour) were not allowed in for the duration of this time. This is despite queuing up in an orderly fashion and proving our sobriety. We certainly weren’t let in for some bizarre power struggle on behalf of your pathetic bouncers. Perhaps trying to prove that they are ‘hard’ one last time before they sink into middle age? Nevertheless, your bouncers made both of us feel like we absolutely weren’t wanted. A good club would stick by their word or make each person seem wanted. Instead, your bouncers did a great job of making sure two 21 year olds didn’t buy drinks in your club for two hours and instead wasted that time standing in the street. Moreover, I left my coat in the cloakroom. At some point in the night, I unfortunately lost my ticket. When I approached the cloak room at 130am, instead of making me feel like a value customer, they instead made me feel like a fucking idiot for losing my coat, and certainly talked down to me whilst they told me to meet at less busy time. When I approached them later whilst there was no queue, they still refused to even consider my request to look for my coat; again your staff seem to have been trained with some bizarre power hungry rules rather than with the customer at heart. This isn’t to mention your incredibly rude bar staff. Your staff did a fantastic job of making sure that I did not spend a single penny in your club. Not only did you make me feel like shit, you also effectively robbed my coat. I have never met a customer based company who values the customer so little. It is truly a revolutionary business model you have going on. I will make it my life’s duty to make sure to never go to your shit little club again. Not only that, but if any of my friends ever mention going here, I will strongly, strongly discourage them. Literally, the worst club I have ever been to, Regards, DJ
