Took my grandma here for afternoon tea, as a day out and it was lovely. Using a Groupon voucher, I booked and when I got there, they remembered our note on the booking. We had a selection of sandwiches, with the Cheese & Pickle being particularly tasty! Then 2 scones each with clotted cream & jam and a selection of cakes. The tea itself came in these gorgeous glass teapots which were huge! The whole selection is Fortnum & Mason which was a pleasant surprise. Thee venue itself was beautiful: there was red carpet at the entrance to the hotel (a lovely backdrop), the lounge/ bar where we had tea was beautifully decorated (although a little dimly lit for the afternoon) and the overall building was just amazing. Service was lovely, in particular the older and very attentive gentleman. Lovely experience overall.
