This may be Kit Kemp’s most affordable hotel but there’s no slacking in style – witness the fresh flowers and origami-ed birdbook decorations in the comfy drawing room. Bedrooms are generously sized, bright and very light, and carry the Kemp trademark mix of bold and traditional.
The whole place has an appealing freshness about it, enhanced by a delicious, large back garden with its central water feature. By the time you finish breakfast in the sweet conservatory, you’ll have forgotten you’re in the city.
