Cinema under the Stars

For a regal evening's viewing, Syon House's 'Cinema Under the Stars' event is hard to beat. Films screen among the trees, and picnics are welcome. The programme features Quentin Tarantino's 'Pulp Fiction' (1994; Cert: 18), prison-set classic 'The Shawshank Redemption' with Morgan Freeman (1994; Cert: 15), Colin Firth in Oscar smash 'The King's Speech' (2010; Cert: 12A) and Meryl Streep/Alec Baldwin romcom, 'It's Complicated' (2009; Cert: 15).
