The worst staff ever Paid for table + que jump which we never got My asian friends we seperated from our group then was told by a bouncer that 'it was dark enough in the club already' When originally booking we was told that there shouldnt be a problem getting in so long as its a mixed group etc Then when they let people in it was only 4 people out of 10 then when we asked why the rest wasnt allowed in, we was told because the venue had reached capacity.. Even though it was pretty much empty. The worst thing though was the cockroaches i saw in the food area. So vile

If you have ever considered to book a table with this venue please do NOT do so! Its a waist! I have paid £150 for a table recently. This should have included q jump, a table for up to 5 people, table service, a bottle of spirit and mixers. After having to queue for around 2hrs. (baring in mind that me and my friends had also bought tickets for the event) I had to wait for another hr for the table. I was given the bottle of spirit and mixers but not even any cups with that. There was no table service and the area was not even reserved so when me and my friends returned to the table from the dance floor other people had taken the space. This is most expensive bottle of vodka I have ever paid for. Basically I paid for a service and did not receive it. The bouncers were extremely rude and when asking why I was not able to q jump they told me that it was one in one out. How is this even possible when we have tickets. This also means the club was oversold. I have send numerous emails to Cargo about this but have not received any response. I feel no one should ever be treated this way so please anyone who bought a ticket for this event don't expect to q jump and if you do end up booking a table good luck with that!!! I really hope you will have a more pleasant experience than me!

Very disappointing night. Very rude door and reception staff, and after queuing for a while, being marched through like cattle and then paying the entry fee (£10 for a bar!) we straight away realised we'd left something behind. I spoke to the girl on reception, who told me we would have to pay again when we came back. What? Twice the price for an already overpriced bar?! I asked her to understand and either refund us, or simply allow us re-entry when we came back, (it's not like we had been in therefor an hour, we had just walked through the doors) and she repeated that it would be another £10 each. We asked to speak to the Manager thinking he would understand and want to help, but he merely shaprly told us to pay again, and then disappeared quickly. My night was completely ruined, and after staying for drink, (an over priced, badly made gin and tonic), we left. I do not reccommend this place to anyone.

The bouncers who work here are the rudest people I've ever met. We met some guys in the queue and when we got to the front we said to the bouncer we were 'with' them as we obviously wanted to go inside with them. The bouncers then told us to get out of the queue and wait. When we tried to ask why they either ignored us or when they did finally acknowledge us they said "why you asking me?". In the end a lady came over to us (after waiting another 20 minutes) and said we could buy a table for £400. We ended up going to the Book Club not that far away where we paid £5 to get in and had an awesome night where all the staff were nice and the bouncers weren't dicks.

Disappointing night, worst margarita EVA!!they had no lime juice to use lime cordial! moody staff, food was like plac stic and cold, when I complained they just ignored me. music was just bearable, we have re named it "dontgo" or Carzie (meaning toilet)! peope were more there to pose than to dance and have a good time, expensive and rubish night, the kind where you wake up next morning wondering how did I spend so much money and have such a dull night!

Just got back from this place tonight and felt so strongly about it that I had to come and write about it straight away. I think this is possibly the worst place I have been to. Sure, you can book a table and pay per head, but they will still try to charge your guests again on the door. The bouncers are the rudest people ever too. I was polite and smiled at them. They just talked to me like shit. Nice! Inside you'll find it overpriced. Its also very cramped. I'm sure there is some sort of maximum capacity violations going on here. I did feel in danger from being trampled a couple of times. Just glad I didn't witness any fights. The people surrounding would have no chance. Such a shame as I was here for a special occasion and the pictures look good. It might be ok during the day, but don't bother in the evening!

Daylight robbery!!! charged me £12,50 for a crap cocktail that it didn't even test alcohol

Absolute horror of a club! Do not bother visiting - the bouncers are rude and aggressive, the door staff obnoxious, and the staff hardly acknowledge customers who have booked themselves areas. To them it is all about making the most money they can on the night by screwing people over - they actually sell tables to people waiting in line outside to the highest bidder (they start a cover charge at 10pm, so if you're in the queue at 9, good luck getting in within the hour). Such a sham! I have not had this kind of experience at any other busy place I go to in London, it really is a joke. Honestly everyone, save yourselves the time, effort and trouble - you will have a much better night out elsewhere!

The worst place ever. This is my first bad review and all I can say is don't go to Cargo. I booked an area for 25 of my friends having to pay money per head, then when i arrived, at my birthday party, i found out that i was sharing the area with another 80 people or so, when my area could only fit 8 of my friends, even though i booked for 25. when i asked about it, they simply said they didn't think everyone would need a seat?????? it was such a ridiculous and awful night, i seriously would not reccamend that place for anyone! There are so many cooler and nicer places in that part of London, so just skip Cargo, until the management and staff are replaced..
