These Canadian metal veterans were the subject of the 2008 cult documentary ‘Anvil! The Story of Anvil’, which followed band members Steve ‘Lips’ Kudlow and Robb Reiner on their dedicated but ultimately fruitless hunt for rock ’n’ roll fame. Ironically, the film raised their profile more than decades of touring.
