An international line-up of acts at this relaxed Greenwich Village-style hangout for beatniks has included the Coal Porters (the ‘world’s first alt-bluegrass band’) and in summer 2009 the venue staged its third annual Festival of Latin Music. Follow on Twitter for updates. Paintings of folk icons Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan line the walls. Food is vegetarian and organic; daily specials, salads and tapas can be eaten in the café/restaurant area out front, or in the music venue at the back.

Green note is an incredible venue- consistently brilliant musicians in a quirky and stylish space which always has an awesome vibe!! Magical nights aplenty!!
Green Note is an amazing space with great vibes and London's best music lineup. It's a cozy community venue and I consider it my second home in London - can't wait to hang there again!
Played it. Played it. Played it. Played it. Then again. Great folk, great sound, great peeps, great vibe. And there was always parking nearby! Plus Risa is simply charming. Go, go, go...!
It's a great little bar, which supports great independent musicians, and serves food and drink from smaller independent breweries and food makers. They have a nice selection of vegan beer and food too. The great staff make this a very special place.
The green note is a true experience, each event is programmed, promoted and ran properly... So many venues could do with taking advice from these guys! They aim high with who they book and it pays off! Don't let the slightly higher ticket prices scare you off - after all, we want to pay the musicians that we love right?
Atmospheric small club with friendly and knowledgeable staff. An excellent music venue hosting a wide variety of top-class acts.
Great venue, punches above it's weight - It's intimate, yet get's a great slew of underground and overground folk and acoustic artists through the door. Their booker clearly knows what they're doing!
Best live music venue in the world in my humble opinion! It's so sweet being nestled amongst the tables with passionate music lovers in a dimly lit room with the musicians only a few feet away. There's such sultry and intimate feel to the place. Prices are also soooo reasonable, making seeing live music something you can do all the time. Owners are warm and deeply into the music and space they are creating and you feel it.
From the welcome, to the staff, via the food and the audience to the beauty of the music and the chance to support fantastic, talented musicians this IS the place to be. Small, welcoming and respectful audiences make it a delight of a venue. More like this please.
Wonderful performers and an intimate atmosphere that is second to none. Friendly staff and tasty bites will always guarantee a fabulous evening at Green Note
Every time I'm in London I hit The Green Note first to see what's happening! Great music, groovy atmosphere, every night of the week, and the friendly hosts and bartenders always make me feel at home.
It's such an intimate venue. Just like back in the day when well known musicians we're able to perform without worrying someone will cause trouble. We go as a family and love it every time.
Green Note is the best music venue in London. It's run by wonderful people, has a beautiful and unique atmosphere, and always feels like home - both as a performer and a punter.
Great music, great cocktails and snacks. The atmosphere is very special indeed. The best thing though, is that the music never really misses. They book interesting musicians, so there's always something worth seeing.
The Green Note is where I go to see music from all over the world and its always top quality. They have an larger upstairs space and then a kind of 'speakeasy' downstairs which another hidden gem. The owners and staff are incredibly dedicated to what they do and accomodating and friendly. I also perform at this venue and so I know that all musicians that tread their stage are treated well and paid fairly. All in all, these people care and they're nailing it!
Tiny but perfectly formed venue. Welcoming to lesser-known artists from UK and rest of the world. Always welcomed with a smile.
An intimate venue that really knows its onions when it comes to folk, blues and country music from all over the world.
A wonderfully thriving and vibrant live music venue which hosts a variety of some of Londons quality musicians and bands!
I just adore this venue: intimate, wonderful atmosphere and each gig is amazing and seems so carefully chosen. Great drinks and vegetarian snacks too. I love the fact that only a certain number of people are allowed in, and that the staff encourage you to keep the volume down. I would go every week if I could. It's also reasonably priced too. I just LOVE it!
Green Note has the BEST and most joyous gigs ever in the history of gigs. The staff are friendly and the sound is good; the place is a treasure. Its my favourite venue in London.
Coming up Parkway to Green Note, one enters the intimate space of Green Note, reminding of bars in rural Ireland, with it's wooden floor, small tables, friendly welcome and buzzy atmosphere. Then there is the variety of programming by the management that gives it it's unique position in Camden music venues. Sometimes I wish it was bigger but it's perfectly formed as it is.
My favourite music venue presenting a wide variety of music genres - americana, roots, folk, blues, jazz, country and bluegrass. Something for every day of the week!! Friendly atmosphere and good selection of wine, beers and vegetarian snacks.
The Green Note is a special venue. Run by a fantastically enthusiastic team who promote smaller, new, diverse artists. The ambience, food and staff deserve this for what they provide for Londoners!!
This is a small but welcoming venue that certainly lets you get up close and personal with the acts. Food is tasty and wholesome with a good selection of drinks.
