NYC’s girl-guy duo MM come off like a depressed Florence Welch making out with Poliça and The XX on a bed of crushed velvet, which is good. They’ve had an image revamp for album two, which is also good because producer Max Hershenow now looks a lot less like Keifer Sutherland in ‘The Lost Boys’.
