You may remember that a few years there was a Kickstarter project called 'Don't Let Nickel Back' that asked for donations to prevent Nickelback ever playing a show in the UK again. Well, it didn't work. The distressingly popular grunge latecomers from Vancouver are back again, as overwrought and muscular as ever – the only real change is that Chad Kroeger has ditched his Kurt Cobain-meets-Pat Butcher locks in favour of a gel-spikes-and-goatee look last seen on 'Jackass' in 2003.
