According to The Streets's Mike Skinner, he formed The DOT with The Music's former frontman Rob Harvey over a shared love of tea. Judging by their mix of funky bass, synths and samples, though, it's more likely it was a mutual affinity for club music. Since they emerged in November 2011 they've gigged only sporadically, and always got the audience moving within milliseconds, so this should be a good one.
