This Colorado trio had already been around for a while when Mumford & Sons made Americana the big sound of 2012. The Colorado trio hitched a ride on that faux-folk wagon too, and did very well for themselves with their song ‘Ho Hey’. Tonight they mosey on back to London to headline a big ol’ show with their stompy, strummy Americana.

The Lumineers played their last gig in London at the O2 academy in Brixton, and it was phenomenal. My favourite part was when the lead singer told everyone to take as many videos and photos of this one song and then to put their phones away and enjoy the rest of the show.

At the time of the show I had only listened to their new album a handful of times, but I have been playing it on repeat since. I would say that they're not a band for showmanship but rather they move something deep within you making you so grateful to be alive now.
