Are they meant to be pigeons who've taken up private investigation, or detectives who specialise in covertly finding pigeons? It doesn't really matter – all you need to know is that these five chirpy lads make laddy, stompy, scruffy indie that usually includes big, shouty choruses, and that they've never matched the success of their first album, 'Wait for Me' in 2007. They're a little like fellow Yorkshire riffers Arctic Monkeys, but scrappier around the edges and without even a tenth of Alex Turner's way with words.
