A long-standing (they've been there since 2004) Leytonstone bar offering two floors of diverse music. Expect anything from open mic, movie nights and comedy gigs to soul, funk, blues, fusion, indie and psychadelic jazz funk. A varied selection, then.

There's hardly a wealth of good places to drink in Leytonstone, but when the Red Lion is packed to the gills on a weekend evening, this is a good alternative. The patrons are older, and the vibe is relaxed and mature. Every time I've visited there's been live music. Good for cosy dates.
Great selection of beers, free entry to majority of events & there's something on almost every evening of the week.
Friendly and unique place with a lot of character and heart, fantastic music line up and supportive of local community groups and creatives with their pop ups and art displayed -Leytonstone would be Leytonstone without the Luna !
Great music venue that I've played at many times and run by awesome owners who celebrate and make a point of keeping music live and accessible for everyone! Mark Mathews
Great place to see live bands with a diverse range of music. A friendly, welcoming atmosphere and a great place to chill.
Brilliant bar and venue, if you just want to chill out after work during the week or take in some great live music at the weekend. Highly recommend this hidden gem of East London. Great Wednesday open mic night too!
A lovely local venue that adapts and changes and always offers an amazing variety of music. Suja deserves a lot of praise for what he has done here.
I rate this venue as no1. live music venue. They host all bands and artists. One night can be rock/hardcore night, and the next night it can be a guy playing acoustic guitar and harmonica the best of Bob Dylan's songs. It's so dynamic and unique.
