Mediterranean cuisine is the name of the game at Alquimia, a relaxed Putney boite with heaps of Spanish kitchen cred. Having honed his skills at a number of Michelin-starred restaurants in Spain, head chef Sergio Ferrari specialises in tapas both hot and cold. Mains, too, including lobster, sea bream, oxtail and beef. Keep an eye out for the appropriately extensive Spanish wine list.

A little hidden away (is that a bad thing?) in Putney Wharf, but a great place, mostly due to the quality of the food. AMAZING tapas and Spanish dishes. They do specials and a good lunch menu at the weekend. Ask for croquettes or the octopus. Time Out card gets you free wine too!

A very good Spanish restaurant that happens to be in London. Relax environment, great service, high quality Spanish food. I particularly recommend the croquetas and the octopuss. Priced accordingly to the high quality and standards, a real Spanish food treat
