An Italian restaurant that adds some unusual selections to the standard Italian fare of pasta, pizza, risotto and meat and fish dishes – Haward’s Oysters from West Mersea in Essex, for example and the house speciality, spicy calamaretti. Enjoy them al fresco in the courtyard for a taste of summer.

I am a seafood lover and this places reminds me of the south of France where we go to softly sophisticated mediterraenn restaurants serving oysters, along pasta, pizzas, and quality meat dishes. But Amici has an advantage on the French: there wine list offers a great range of good quality wines by the glass. I'll be back to enjoy a Diiner on the secluded terrace.
BEST ITALIAN EVER!!! must go! i took a few of my friends to this place for the first time for my birthday, the food was delicious! and the service impeccable, very friendly staff and great ambiance! I strongly recommend this place! Also at the bar they make incredible cocktails tailored to your taste! just say what you like and they will make it happen :).
Lovely family run local Italian Restaurant - even the staff is treated like family and shows with the clientele. Everyone who comes to Amici will be a regular soon ... really good food and they know how to take care of you - whe there is a problem, there is no discussion, they try the best to make you feel good. The deco is chic and cosy - They do mean specials on cocktails and the courtyard is GREAT especially in summer
Whenever I come to visit my family, the first place they suggest is Amici. I have been going for many years since my kids were 5 & 7. They are now away from home but still crave Amici's Lasagne. Always great food, attentive service. The staff are all wonderful and make the extra effort to ensure you have a lovely experience. If you are around on a sunny day, they have this beautiful courtyard at the back. It seriously looks like Italy in Kennington.
Having been here on many occasions for both lunch and dinner, I was again not disappointed. This is one of my favourite restaurants in London. Recently been again for dinner and the service and food was fantastic. Staff are always willing to help and offer advice on the menu and wine list. I had a great Steak done exactly the way I Love.
Fantastic selection of scrummy Italian food with a very wide ranging menu to keep everyone happy. The variety is so good that I've eaten here at least 5 times and never had the same thing twice. Excellent specials range too. The courtyard to dine outside is one of the hidden gems in Kennington.
