Botanist

I love the Botanist, I always go on Friday evenings to start the weekend off right! The bartenders are fantastic, and always will explain to me what is in my drink (as I’m annoying and usually want to know!) The waitstaff are good for a joke as well, which I appreciate. Its always impressed my out of town visitors, too.

I miss the botanist loads from when I lived close by, but now I'm in a different area of London its harder to get back to. However, I love the staff and they remember me from my time as a regular. The food is fabulous, the changes they make every now and then are always eagerly anticipated by me! Very welcoming, a great experience every time.

I love coming here with the girls, its a guaranteed great night out every time. Sexy people, sexy drinks!

Very crowded, very busy, very good! Loved the food. Not many places serve big portions that arent pubs and I really loved it.

I take dates here sometimes, and it is always great! I have to say, I go more for the bar side of things, because you cant beat their Old Fashioneds, but I have now had dinner with a group of friends and I got to see why it is always packed. The food was amazing! I had the oysters to start, and then the fish risotto, because I am a big sea-foodie, and I was blown away. the place is doing great things, and my friends dishes looked awesome too. I might have to start taking dates for dinner too, if their worth the price tag of course.......

My husband and I popped in to The Botanist last night for a quick bite to eat. What was going to be a main course and a glass of wine turned into a three course extravaganza with after dinner cocktails (not unusual for us!). My dinner was lovely with scallops to start, steak for main and crème brulee to finish. Not cheap but then again so is nowhere in Chelsea!

I went to the Botanist for the first time this week, and it was a poor, poor experience|! This was a Wednesday evening, and even though we had a reservation, we didn't get seated until 40 minutes later. The service was incredibly slow, in fact our waiter ignored us to the fact that I had to get up twice, once to remind him we we were waiting for bread, and the second time to ask if we could order our mains. I ordered the Wiener Schnitzel, and the meat was so chewy that I left half of it on my plate. Sorry, but the Botanist is completely overrated, and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody!

I am a regular at The Botanist and often visit once or twice a week for breakfast before work. I have always been satisfied with both the food and service here and the waiters always know my order before I have sat down, which works well for me as I don't usually have a lot of time. On the rare occasion I have visited for a few drinks in the evening it has always been fairly busy with a lively atmosphere. I hope this has been of some help to any one thinking of visiting.

Popped into the Botanist for a quick after dinner cocktail and was very impressed! I went for the Kings Road Buchaneer as I love rum and it was delicious. My friend decided on the espresso martini and said it was equally as good. Will definitely go back!

Will keep this short and sweet. I always dine at The Botanist whenever I am in the Chelsea area. Delicious food always, fast service, friendly staff and an all round top evening. Would recommend to others.
