Buenos Aires, the Argentine steakhouse chain, has its Chiswick branch on Turnham Green Terrace, just around the corner from leafy Chiswick Green. It's a sleek-looking spot but there's no hiding from the gaucho here, with stirrups, spurs and hides providing the decor. There are walls of wine, too.
And thus the restaurant is well stocked with wines to match the char-grilled steaks. All cuts of beef are Argentine Angus, making this a fairly authentic South American experience right in the heart of west London.
Outside of the steaks there are empanadas, provoleta Argentina, chicken in chimichurri butter, spinach tortelloni and authentic morcilla - Argentine black pudding served here with salsa criolla and a house salad.
Food and wines
Not just for steak lovers, Buenos Aires offers a range of authentic dishes made using the best quality ingredients and with traditional Argentine methods, including humita - a creamed sweetcorn dish wrapped in corn husks whilst cooking, and mollejitas - pan-fried sweetbreads.
Ambience and concept
Buenos Aires restaurant's concept provides a unique combination of excellent quality Argentine cuts of beef from grass-fed cattle reared in the fertile lowlands of Las Pampas and cooked on an authentic parrilla (barbecue) paired with superb Argentine wines, traditional Argentine cuisine, quality ingredients and a vibrant atmosphere.

They continue to pay special attention the unique characteristic of the product: the prime quality of the beef and also a great selection of Argentine wines with which to accompany it.
