Nice (warm) venue in Market Row- great service and tasty food. Not as good as Honest Burgers or Joint in Brixton Village.

Sometimes tasty but always dry. Not worth the money or the mediocre service. Brixton market has far better offerings than here. Socks need to be pulled up!

Very poor service. I brought friends to Birxton Market for the 1st time and it was terrible. The staff were really rude and unfriendly and they forgot our order. Food was also quite poor. Certainly won't be back!

Having eaten at Honest Burger and Bukowski several times, Bukowski comes on top, their burgers have a greater depth of flavor and love thier home made ketchup. The fat gringo is my favorite burger, and there is also the rips and pork to consider which are equally good.

Ok, I have been to Burkowsk about 7 times and the first two times were amazing. Great food, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, good value. Since then I have gone back another and on 4 of the 5 times have been really disappointed. Twice I was given really rare (almost raw) beef when i asked for it medium and last night my chicken burger was raw in the middle. I persisted with Burkowski because I loved it so much to begin with but feel really disappointed now and their reaction to my raw chicken burger was completely blaze, the waitress simply said it won't be on the bill. and was completely indifferent to the fact that it is s pretty horrible experience to bite into chicken.... Really, really bad experience and it is a real shame. Maybe they'll pick up their socks but it is pretty inconsistent and sometimes terrible at the moment.

I disagree with TimeOut's review - the burgers in this place are fantastic and far better than the market's other offiering; Honest Burger. Ribs too are amazing, along with the beef dripping chips!

This is a decent but expensive burger joint that has popped up in Brixton market in South London. It has the same generic feel as all the other trendy new fast food places that are cashing in on the current Americana trip that Londoners seem to have collectively dropped and is pretty average amongst them. If you need a big chunk of meat and you're in Brixton (it happens), you could do worse (and quite a bit better).

time out, why no mention of the beef ribs???? really yummy and worth a trip down just for those. chips are very nice too. yes, honest burgers are rather good but this place has the yummy RIBS! :)
