Venue says Looking for a venue to host a private party? Our newly refurbished first floor dining room can accommodate groups of up to 24 guests!

The original of three Charlotte's venues (there's another around the corner and one in Chiswick), this popular restaurant opposite the south-west corner of Ealing Common has been a fixture here for more than 30 years. It's a founding member of the Sustainable Restaurant Association.

As with the other venues in the group, the focus here is on British food. Expect dishes such as hay-baked leeks with artichoke and fresh chestnut, veal sweetbread and tongue with mushroom chutney and potato mousse, and roasted cod with bone marrow, garlic and parsley. Desserts include a frozen apple crumble with toasted oats and a warm chocolate tart with clotted cream and whisky.

Tasting menus, party menus and menus tailored to dietary requirements also feature.

Incredible food and service... Menu changes monthly and prices are fair

After spotting this posh nosh on the times top 100 foodie restaurant list I was dutifully awarded for being 1 year older with dinner. The food was exemplary, seasonal and skillfully produced topped off with spot on professional service and a great wine list for under a £50 for 3 courses. What a bargain . A true local gem.

We have been dining here since it opened. The food is consistently amazing, the staff really care about your dining experience and whether you eat inside or out it is the most relaxing and chilled time you're going to have at a restaurant. There is nowhere else quite like Charlotte's Place. We love it 😘

Gorgeous food in an unpretentious atmosphere. Best restaurant in west London.

Tim A

Fabulous food in a lovely setting. Service has always been spot on. Cannot fault it.

Julian C

Superb food, at central London quality but not at central London prices! Tasting menu is especially imaginative. Superior approach to special diets, with complete pre-prepared menus provided on arrival to cater for specific dietary needs. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A peaceful location by Ealing Common. Outdoor tables make for a great al fresco dining experience in summer.

Iesha A

Small but perfect. I live across from the common and its such a treat to have such good food, wine and great service.

Uses local producers where available, chef develops new flavours and tastes.

One of Ealings hidden gems. The food here is outstanding and the ambience make it the perfect setting for a romantic date. A great way to impress your date without breaking the bank, reasonably price for the quality of food served.

A lovely restaurant for a romantic date night or just an evening out with friends. Menu changes with the season. Amazing cocktails!

A fantastic local gem, for years has consistently been the best restaurant in Ealing with monthly menu focused around modern British cooking and fresh seasonal ingredients.  Been coming here for years, always impresses with really high quality food, and great service from very friendly staff. Lovely ambience (although better upstairs than in basement where the noise travels a bit), deserves much more recognition, these guys really care about what they are doing and it shows.  Prices very sensible, especially with fixed menu, and a great range of wines for all wallets.
