I'm a vegetarian Hindu - I ordered the veggie burrito and to my horror and disgust, I was served a beef burrito. After one bite I realised and alerted the waiter who's response was 'mistakes happen, ill get you a veg one'. No apology or remorse. When I explained that I was Hindu and this was against my religion his response was 'how was I to know it was against your religion'. I was horrified with his response and attitude and complete carefree manner. I physically vomited given I've managed to avoid meat for 29 years (my whole life) and thanks to Chico Bandito this is no longer the case. To make matters worse, the restaurant actually then charged me double for the replacement burrito and the original beef one! The manager (a bald man) was more apologetic and did not charge for the meal after some arguing. If anyone has any experience of pursuing compensation claims for such incidents (meat eaters may laugh but genuinely this will scar me for life) then please do get in touch.

Amazing mexican food! Went there for my birthday and even the people I brought who don't eat mexican food absolutely loved it! It's a little bit off the beaten track but don't let that discourage you because it is so worth going to and once you leave the side roads you are back in central Shoreditch! Highly recommend and it was great atmosphere, great food, and great prices!
