This restaurant, bar and event space in the City is located in the atrium of Devonshire Square, with views of the Gherkin looming large at one end and plenty of sunlight streaming through during the day. Throughout the week it's food-focused in the day and more of a bar in the evenings (though food is still available), with weekends given over to events.
There's a Mediterranean feel to most of the food menu, with dishes such as tiger prawn, calamari and mussel linguine, tuna tartare with avocado, capers and shallots, and pan-fried cod fillet with caponata and a black olive and caper salad. Hoisin glazed pork belly and skewers of lemon and coriander chicken offer Asian alternatives.
House creations sit alongside classics and classics-with-a-twist on the cocktail menu, and a long wine list focuses on the old world. Beers include Paxton Pale Ale, Cusquena lager, Meantime Pilsner and Kirin Ichiban. Keep an eye out for cocktail masterclasses, too.
Serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner you can expect a selection of British dishes with a European twist during the day and a selection of small sharing plates in the evening.
There is a wide variety of Champagne and wine to choose from alongside an eclectic cocktail list.
