Disappointing. We took the food away. The crispy cassavana was cut like potatoe wedges and almost uncooked. We did not eat them. Very far behind the vegetarian restaurants in Drumond Street near Euston station.

Superb food - great to see vegan catering in East Dulwich. Friendly staff, certainly a place to make your local curry house!

Just paid my second visit to Indian Mischief and have to say that my taste buds are again on cloud 9. Having travelled to India regularly on business and various holidays, I have finally found the real thing here in East Dulwich. If your like me and never really satisfied with the various curry houses that turn out manufactured British curries you should definately pay them a visit - You wont be disappointed and do not be put off that the menu will not be familiar. Like me I'm sure that you will want to revist to try everything on the menu!

Visited Indian Mischief last night for dinner with my vegan other half... despite the early critical reviews there was little to criticise about our delicious meal. The crispy okra starter lived up to its excellent reputation and the cassava was described as 'really special' by my fella (though he had inexplicably downgraded this to 'very good'by this morning!). Mains of pumpkin dosa and sev tomato were tasty and decent sized portions, though we secretly wished that we'd ordered a greater range of starters instead of mains to make the most of the excellent range of tasty (vegan) dishes. The waiters were attentive and helpful, managing to rustle up some soya milk for fella's chai tea despite being told by the chef that they'd run out and providing both veggie and vegan sauces for the mains so that we could share dishes. The final bill was under £40 which I thought was good value. One other positive point for me was the good a lipreader I find it a nusiance that most restaurants dim the lights throughout the evening, making it harder and harder to communicate. Indian Mischief has excellent lighting which remained constant throughout our visit. Other half and I will definitely be returning to Indian Mischief soon.
