It's a local curry house but an unabashedly upmarket one, favoured by the numerous politicians who inhabit the area (on some nights you can feel like you're the only non-SPAD in there). The staff can be a bit fusty and frosty but the menu is a great compromise between standard 'comfort food'-style neighbourhood Indian and something a little more progressive, as exemplified by their seasonal menus, which chuck things like venison into the mix.
