A lovely Lebanese on the leafy Battersea Square, Mazar Restaurant is situated just off of the road, opposite the Royal Academy of Dance. With a warm, cosy interior and modern décor, Mazar provides the ideal setting for a relaxed dinner after work or before hitting the local bar scene, while in the summer months there are few places in the Battersea area which provide such a perfect continental style al fresco experience - the pavement seating on the square is so entirely Parisian in style. But, however European this aspect may be, the overall vibe is entirely Eastern. Shisha pipes enjoyed out on the private smoking courtyard are an integral part of any visit to Mazar, while the wine list is true to the restaurant’s roots with a complement of white, red and rose wines direct from the vineyards of the Lebanon. In addition to the Lebanese specialties that make up a large section of the menu, Mazar also provides a good selection of other Middle Eastern delicacies with grills of particular

We were a table of four. We think the owner served us all, Mark. Tall dark and Hansome so polite (As a Chelsea Woman I can honestly say he is not in any way a creep to Women far from, but very respectful to all and makes you feel very at ease and relaxed!!) and knows exactly how to treat everyone. He was speaking 5 langauges that night to so many foreign people - WoW!!! we are certain he is secretly a spy ;) as he phoenaomally well travelled and has lived all over the world and even knew people we know in almost 8 different countires, Go Figure that!?!  The food was excellent the evening was brilliant. Never spent so much time in one restaurant as the service was brilliant even though the battersea square was packed with hundreds of people, it was a very hot evening. He was a very funny guy and defo made our eve. My husband and I and our guests have since been back but it is not the same when he is not there, is he on  secret mission?? Hurry back PLEEEEEASSSSeeee. Please make our evening our again. Look forward to the amazing service delicous food and Vino (Hick) and especially the very hot host, Mark thank you for making our evening. I am sure you made almost 100 tables very happy that night :))

A group of 10-12 of us pre-ordered lunch at Mazar for a working lunch. The order was supplied to them over the phone well in advance, supplying exact order for each person. When the food arrived, half the orders were wrong. The waiter had a bad attitude and was rude when we politely pointed out the orders that were wrong. My food was terrible (mixed grill) and consisted of a few pieces of overcooked meat, flat bread and loads of onion - that's it. After the meal the manager came to our table and proceeded to shout at us about our order, insisting that we can not pre-order over the phone as one of his staff always gets the orders wrong. How is that the customers fault if his staff are incompetent and get the orders wrong? He insisted that one of us should go into the restaurant the day before to place the order - how ridiculous. He was rude and completely unreasonable, his staff are rude and incompetent, and the food is average at best. Avoid completely!
