This little Indian gem is tucked up out of the hustle and bustle of main London streets, but once you find it - you won't be disappointed.

Firstly, I have to give a little shout out to the staff. They did their best to ensure every request was met, with both haste and a smile. They were very attentive and helpful when making important menu decisions and it wasn't long before a tray of Poppadoms arrived – which meant none of us were given a chance to get hangry.

This establishment operates a Bring Your Own Booze policy, which is music to any Londoners ears. The waiter was quick to pop the caps of some of our beer bottles and ensured us wine drinkers had glasses for our beverages.

It wasn't overly busy, but by no means empty. The food was delicious. We were table of a varying curry courage, and each of us spoke highly of our own choices. Even our Jalfrezi Jester, who was warned by the waiter of the heat level in his chosen dish – found his food utterly divine. It wasn't long before we started looking around and watching each other getting fuller by the second and wondering who was going to roll who home.

Once our plates were cleared, we were pleasantly surprised when a complimentary scoop of ice cream arrived in front of each of us. Completely unexpected, but a fantastic touch – and just about all we had room left for.

It was a lovely dining experience, with very thoughtful staff – towards the end of the evening, a woman that was dining alone was soon joined by the waiter for a round of card games! And it's that kind of friendly behaviour that'll see me return very soon.

I ordered food online and paid online. Unfortunately it was out of their opening hours and I didn't get the delivery. When I realised it (no warning or blocking on their online order site) I sent them an email, but only 11 hours later at 11pm they called me back, but missed me. In a phone call on the next day they were only prepared to deliver at another time, but not to reimburse because of paypal fees they would loose otherwise. With this unprofessional way they might not only loose fees but customers.
