great architecture and decoration in old church style with a confessionary style table as well! the old advertisement signs from early 1900s are just adding the perfect touch to the cosy atmosphere. The playlist is always spot on, including 50s and 60s hits, the garden is a hidden gem and the vestry room upstairs is available for hire for free, which is amazing considering how well equipped (mini personal bar, antique sofa lounge) it is, i had my engagement party there and the food was top notch (even salmon en croute!) and every guest kept complimenting us on the choice of this little hidden gem in Archway. Staff is super nice and friendly too, they even took back bottles we didn't open for the event reducing our final bill!!!
Cool little pub with a great atmosphere (nice lighting and music). Food is pretty good and there is always something fun going on, i.e pizza and comedy nights. Would reccomend!
We went for food on a satutday night and they reserved a table for us which was really appreciated and a nice touch. The sharing of three starters for £12.50 was huge and you'd want three people for it. We both had the oak burger. Flavour was fine but it must have been left on the pass for too long as the bun and chips were dried out and not hot. However the pub is lovely the staff are friendly and efficient and atmosphere is good. Not too busy and music isn't too loud drowning out all conversation. I'd give it another chance with the food.
