Stopped by hear the other week, its a bit off the beaten track, but very close to Marylebone Station as I discovered! Once arrived, discovered they only open in the evening, had been open since Oct last year, the chef Amelio spoke about who the bread in made in house, he keeps the covers low enough so he can have the ingredients fresh, and boy do you notice this when you starter arrives, a suitable wow, from both of us, foie gras on brioche biscuits, I followed it up with roasted red snapper & I had the duck, which was so tender, I wanted it to last and last, highly recommended

Off my usual beaten track, but turned out to be worth the effort, small restaurant run by Amelio, which only opens in the evening, always good to have a chat with the chef! starter was scallops on a fondue of leek & I had the foie gras on home made brioche, as was the the bread was made in house, the food tasted as good as it looked, very much wow! great flavours mix beautiful together, main was duck for me see image, and roasted red snapper, again both were big hits, and to hear that then have had their first visit from michelin star inspector doesn't come as a surprise!
