The waitress was so sullen and unaccommodating that we all left without eating. Its a shame that this formerly nice Local with friendly owners and regular well trained staff is now just another Gastropub with below par service and over priced food.

Terrible experience at this place last night. I have been a number of times before and was ok. Last night was seated at nine - took ages to take order (around ten minutes) - then waited forty minutes and was told that 'order had been processed but could they just take it down again (do i have stupid written on my face) - was then told (21:50) that only one steak left so did we want to stay or go - we went and then had to find somewhere to eat after 22:00 would never ever go back - so rude was unreal

Looks lovely but, as Eoin says, the food is rather overpriced. They also have an obsession with getting you to start a tab so they can add service. And if you ask for house wine they claim not to have one even tho we all know that when we say 'house' we mean 'cheapest' (which by the way is about £16). And the staff are a little grumpy and it's generally full of teeny tiny babies. If you can get over all of that, the food is actually very tasty and high quality as is the booze.

They do a mean Guinness, good staff too, the food is really expensive though. I saw Tracey Barlow there once from Coro, omfg!!!!
